Man Confused When Dog Escapes Every Day. When He Sees Where He Goes, Breaks Down In Tears

They say that dogs are a man’s best friend, and never was that more clearly seen than in the bond between Cesur and his human.

Cesur was a loyal and faithful companion to his owner, Mehmet Ilhan. When Mehmet suffered an illness that left him paralyzed, Cesur stayed right by his side, bringing him joy and comfort in the midst of his hardships.

Recently, Mehmet had to go to the hospital. Cesur took it really hard.

“Because of my father’s paralysis, they had a different kind of connection,” Mehmet’s son, Ali, said. “When my father was in the hospital during his last days, Cesur stopped eating.”

Sadly, Mehmet passed away soon after. No one knew how Cesur would handle his master’s passing, but what he did next left them all stunned.

After Mehmet’s body was brought home, Cesur stayed right by his side. No one could coax him away or convince him to budge.

Then, as they formed a procession to carry the coffin to a local mosque for the funeral, Cesur led the way. During the ceremony he sat right by the coffin, his head sadly tilted.

“Nobody could touch him until my father was taken to the grave and was buried,” Ali said.

After the funeral, Ali took Cesur home with him, but the poor little dog was obviously not over his beloved master’s death.

Every day when Ali left for work, he noticed Cesur would dart out the door. He assumed the dog was just out wandering, but one day he decided to follow, and when he saw where Cesur was going he couldn’t believe his eyes.

The faithful dog was going to visit Mehmet’s grave.

“The people who work in the cemetery say the first thing he does in the morning is visit the grave of my father,” Ali said.

Ali was heartbroken for Cesur, and they mourned Mehmet’s passing together that day.

Though there is little Ali can do to ease Cesur’s pain, he said he is going to do all he can to care for the dog and show him the same love and loyalty he has displayed.

“Cesur has always been a noble animal,” he said. “He will live with me from now on.”
